I took this picture at my house compound in Asmara, Eritrea.Time
I was sitting at my house it was hot day around 3:00 pm.Lighting
As you can see it is in my house compound so I didn't use any other extra light just the sun. Plus the cat was sitting under a tree.Equipment
I use my camera nikon D5200. Lens 18-55mm. That's it.Inspiration
I was sitting holding my camera take a picture other than the cat. When I saw it sleeping I had in mind 'ok I got one'. So when I was about to take a picture the cat suddenly woke up by the noise around us, There were kids playing to be exact. The cat was so frightned by it. But I simply took it, didn't get distracted.Editing
Yes I did. Since the picture is taken in daylight for me the lighting was good enough. So I simply change a little bit the contrast and colour.In my camera bag
Nikon D5200, lens 18-55mm and also 18-140mm. Flash SB-700.Feedback
My advice is take a picture using the natural light as possible as you can.
