This is excellent. The capture of the patterns and lines, with the contrast between dark and light is fantastic. Well played.

I took the photo in Szczecin Philharmonic which in 2015 was awarded European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture. I was really happy to capture even a piece how beautiful this building is!Time
It was taken during the "Long Night of the Museum" in the evening of 22 May 2016. This is very interesting event when most of the museums in the city are available to visit for free. It always draws a lot of people who are interested in art, culture, architecture and widening their horizons. This was the very first time when I had the possibility to visit Szczecin Philharmonic inside.Lighting
The ligting conditions were very tough for my old bridge camera which was Nikon P610. I was inside the building with only few light sources and I had no tripod or chance to stabilize the camera. This is because I just saw the man go up the stairs and I really wanted to capture that exact moment - it seemed to be important to me. Therefore I had to go all in, immediately choose ISO, shutter speed and hope for the best.Equipment
I shot this picture on a Nikon P610 which is bridge camera and has 4,3–258 mm f/3,3–6,5 built-in lens. No other stuff was involved.Inspiration
I was very excited to visit the Szczecin Philharmonic for the very first time so I didn't know what to expect at all. Everything was new to me and I was admiring the architecture, shapes, symmetry. When I climbed the stairs I just went straight to the place, which happened to be a view point on the another side of the building, I saw a man. He is probably a caretaker of the place, who was climbing stairs to check something. The moment felt so right and important to me I had to take the picture. I just wanted to capture the man in the center of the stairs, people who were waiting by the wall and the beautiful background of vertical lines.Editing
To be honest I had really big problem with post-processing this shot. I couldn't choose the perfect colours and frame which could also be without the people in the bottom of the picture. Everything changed when instead I tried black and white colours which in my opinion emphasized the advantages of the shot. This was taken in JPEG as my old camera didn't shot in RAW files. In my camera bag
As I mostly take pictures during travels I always have by my side micro four thirds Panasonic G7 and 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens as I do not possess any other lens of such focal length at the moment. Also I always take with me my favourite lens which is fast and sharp Laowa 7,5mm f/2, a 15mm equivalent to the full frame. It is a perfect ultrwawide lens to capture landscapes and architecture of the city, plus it is super tiny. When travelling I also take my ND and polrazied filters as well as Joby Gorillapod which is perfect to attach to railings and handrails. The big advantage of this set is that I can put it in my backpack without hurting my back on very long trips.Feedback
The Long Night of the Museums is a perfect opportunity to vist the Szczecin Philharmonic as you get the chance to look in every corner of this place and shoot it with people in the frame. It is really unique and beautiful piece of architecture but it is not always allowed to wander in the building and shoot whatever you like. The event takes place in Szczecin, Poland around 19-22 May which depends on the days of the week. You can also look for other events happening in this place or perhaps go for a guided tour. You are always allowed to go in the main hall where are also many interesting angles, stairs and architectural details. Just look around and you will find them.
