From this picture you can't tell how intense this was, but I recently conquered the most intense hike in my county: a 12-mile hike with steep, rocky terrain. Before it became treacherous, the path was sandy with ups and downs. This car was right at the edge of the two terrains - left here before it became extremely steep and rocky - only making it this far (which is still pretty impressive). The area was completely isolated, no houses or streets. I still wonder how it got here, how long it's been here, and why it was left. I wonder what happened to the owners, whether they made it or just simply chose they did not want their car anymore. Maybe it broke down. Maybe they walked to far and it was easier to just forget about their car. Here it is today, lost and alone on the mountain.
