Location
This photo was taken indside a forgotten monestary in Belgium. It's a hoge building with a lot of different rooms and hallways.Time
This photo was taken at mid day, during sunny afternoon.Lighting
The lightning is just daylight coming in through the Windows. I took three exposures and blended them together creating the beams of light.Equipment
This photo was taken with nu very first DSLR camera, a Canon 1100D and a 18-135 lens.Inspiration
I love taking photographs of old and forgotten places and/or buildings, I really like the atmosphere and always wonder about the history and why such beautiful buildings just become forgotten by everyone.Editing
I used lightroom to post proces it, really didn't do that much just some basic editing and making the light beams pop out.In my camera bag
I like to make landscape photographs the most, now I own a Canon 80D with 85mm 1.8, a 10mm wideangle and the same 18-135 lens. Also a 10 stop ND filter and an adjustable ND400 filter, polariser filter and uv-filters to protect my lenses. Also a remote control shutter and a heavy, old, but perfectly fine tripot.Feedback
Well, take a look at more "urbex" photo's and just go out there and explore while taking photo's. The hardest part is finding the locations. Just search the internet for clues and information, because adresses are almost never given. Oh and always bring your tripod because sometimes it gets really dark in buildings like this.
