I went walking along the shore and when I rounded a point there were three huge and beautiful turtles or Honu in Hawaiian sleeping on the cool morning sand. They are endangered so you need to keep your distance from them and not disturb them. This one would open one eye, look at me and then settle back to sleep. It slept for about 20 minutes but once the tide started rising it turned around and went back to the ocean for a nice swim. They are so wonderful to see just laying on the sand.
