I was drawn by the soft nature of the salsify seeded, related to dandelion, but much bigger - almost the size of a tennis ball. This was taken in evening light and I used selective focus to capture some detail in the middle of the seethed and a little softness in the 'hair' on the outside of the ball, while throwing everything else in the background out of focus.
