This is breath taking. I would love a print on my wall. Nice work.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the county of Virginia where we used to live. Keith, a friend and I were out and about on a morning photo adventure. Frost can still be detected in the shadows of the fencing. It's right beside a historic church building. Using my first dslr with info gathered from our local camera club guest speakers and shared experiences of its members. (Thanks Patsy for encouraging my participation). What we call a "lucky shot". Thanks for all the folks that have reacted kindly. Look forward to continued enjoyment of each of y'alls photography. I learn from viewing your work.

Time

Aproximate time 8AM Eastern.

Lighting

Was past golden hour but not so harsh.

Equipment

Cannon t3i dslr. Lens tamron 18-200 zoom. Natural light. Hand held.

Inspiration

Encouraged by seeing so many great fence photos on Viewbug.

Editing

Used Lightroom 5 on this one. Have sence gone to the latest Lightroom available on disc. The natural lighting played the biggest part. Just used vibrance to bring more detail to tree bark texture.

In my camera bag

Big tip is to carry extra batteries. I lost out on an ospry diving for fish by not carrying an extra in my pocket.

Feedback

Perseverance. Keep going to same places at different or same times. Each day is a new experience at your favorite spot. With results varrying greatly with each shot. Try different angles. Stand back and observe for a bit. Sunrises, look behind you as well. You may be surprised.
