Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken through my Trip through Scotland.

Time

It must have been around 7.p.m. and i've found the place for my Tent just in Time there.

Lighting

One of the best Lights i've ever seen. It was absolutely Magic. Because of the dense Blanket of Clouds the Reflection of the Sunlight was awesome.

Equipment

A Nikon D810 in Combination with the 14-24 mm, 2.8 on a Manfrotto 190 Titanium Tripod.

Inspiration

I pitched my Tent there and the Situation was a Gift from the Land.

Editing

I didn't hardly anything. Only the Lenscorrection and then i cropped the Image a little bit.

In my camera bag

My two Nikon D810, the Nikkor 14-24 mm, 2.8, the Nikkor 70-200 mm, 2.8 and the Nikkor Macro 105 mm, 2.8 are really always my Basics. Then some Haida Filters in 150 x 170 mm, a Remote-control Release, a Cleaning Set and many many Batteries with Charging Station. In Case i know that i'm in the total Wilderness i take a Solar Pannel for Charging the Batteries with me.

Feedback

You have to go out and shoot. Have fun and enjoy this wonderful Feeling of joining the Nature. And you have to be a Survivor and not niminy-piminy at all, expecially in August in Scotland :-D It's Midgies High Season and i got eaten up alive. Sometimes i hardly could take a Picture and my wet towel for wagging was my permanent Companion. They were Millions of them, i swear! I've never seen such an amount of this little Bloodsuckers in my Life and they were everywhere at every time. But i got some unique Pictures and without a doubt is was worth it.
