This is Dubar Square in Kathmandu, Nepal. The temples no longer exist as the earthquake destroyed them, it's a really a shame, they stood there for centuries.. the square system in this central area was a gathering point for people to hang out, it is hidden away by small alleys that suddenly open to this sqaure and others in this close surroundings.Time
I guess it's towards sunset, I don't recall, I've changed the sky so you can't really tell!Lighting

It's just a fantastic scenery standing up on this temple and looking down at this busy square packed with small cabs and improvised market, all those sharp colors just punching through.Editing
The picture is a composite of eight single shots, if you look closely you will see the same people twice in the picture, I left a few just for fun!In my camera bag
just a camera or a phone..Feedback
Follow your guts. It's definitively easier when you travel, even close by, as proximity dulls out the subject, that being that our mind has the tendency to erase any interest in what is felt as a daily scenery. To find a good subject you need to be attentive and alert, whatever is the everyday surrounding will seem monotonous and uninteresting, it's kind of hard to have a fresh perspective in that sense.
