I have never really been on a true vacation and it had been 20 years since I had been to Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, so while my husband was on break from taking chemo he took me on a day trip date to the beach. By the time we got there it had been storming some, but it was wonderful. I love the beach and I felt like a kid again.

I went for a walk one day after it had rained and saw this flower on a tree, I was able to get a couple of shots before it started raining again.

I took this picture of a pink flamingo at the zoo, this is actually one of my favorite pictures.

While on a walk I just happened to see this yellow spot shinning the middle of the woods. I walked over to see what it was and it was these beautiful

I went for a walk the other day on the farm and it just looked so beautiful to me. This farm will always be home to me.

We had gotten some much needed rain one morning and after it stopped I went out and was taking photos of the beautiful rain drops.
