Thank you! It pays to be lucky sometimes...LOL I saw her turning towards him and that was the shot I was expecting but not until I got it into the computer did I see that he yawned at the same time creating a laughing face. Skilled accidents is what I call these moments...lol

Love how the lighting and background work with their colors. And of course, the capture is fantastic!

Location
This was taken in my home studio in Portland OR.Time
Dont remember what time of day we were shooting.Lighting
I was using a 72 inch parabolic umberlla with a diffusion sock and an Enstien strobe straight away flat lightingEquipment
Nikon D750 with 80-200 f2.8.Inspiration
I love dogs so these two are my favorite models being they are mineEditing
I did a little cloning on the background with a very soft brush just to have it a more textured feel. I shot this on white seamless paper and just wanted it muddied up a bit along with sone dodging and burningIn my camera bag
Now I have switched over to sony and I carry an a6000 with the 18-55 and 55-200 kit lenses as well as the full frame sony 50mm 1.8Feedback
Be patient with animals take lots of shots and use noises to get expressions from the animals and be ready to press that shutter. In this image I noticed her going up to lick him but I didnt see he had yawned making that big laugh until I uploaded to my computer. This is my favorite image of my personal work.
