Excellent work! Is there a mountain range in the background? Just imagine if you did that with the dusk sky!

Location
I took it at the end of a cul-de-sac in my hometown, Wellington NZ.Time
Just after the sun had fully set.Lighting
It was a cloudy night with a full moon brightening up the clouds so I just went with it and hoped for the best. I relied on the light of the fire poi.Equipment
I had my trusty canon camera and also used a tripod. No flash and used a long exposure.Inspiration
Funnily enough it was for a university project and just so happens I love fire and motorbikes!Editing
I upped the clarity and that was about it, the original image was spectacular so I didn't want to mess with it too much.In my camera bag
A few different lenses (wide angle, 50mm etc) a spare battery, external flash and soft box, spare SD card and usually a packet of gum.Feedback
Be patient and be unafraid to experiment! Have your camera on the manual setting and preferably use the bulb option so that you can control how long you close the shutter. Definitely use a tripod and have friends to help out!
