On a roadtrip in Iceland with some friends, we had a stop at this very empty road on our way back to Reykjavik, after a very long day of photographing. Of all the time we spent at these gorgeous national parks and tourist spot, this is the image that I feel the most about. For me it perfectly describes the feeling I had when I took it: it might be quiet, it might be desolate, but it is NOT empty (or depressing), it is the quiet that we all need from time to time.
