The photo was taken from underneath the Humber suspension bridge at Hessle, on the outskirts of Hull in East Yorkshire. The 2,220 metre single span suspension bridge spans the Humber estuary, reaching across to Barton on Humber in the distance. I like the contrast between the disappearing lines of the bridge itself and the close up curve of the railing in the right forground.
