Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington, DE.

Time

The time of day was early in the am probably around 11:30am.

Lighting

Nothing special about the lighting. It was natural lighting from the Zoo.

Equipment

Canon 75-300mm on my Canon Digital Rebel.

Inspiration

It was a class trip with my daughter’s 4th grade class. We took several photos of the animals. I’ve never taken photos of monkeys before. I wanted to take this shot because he looked as if he was praying and then looking up to the ceiling.

Editing

Yes I used PS Express on my iPhone to adjust lighting and color. Also used sharpening to get clarity out of the photo.

In my camera bag

I use canon digital Rebel, canon T7, canon 50mm, canon 18-55mm, canon 75-300mm and a Canon Flash. I have filters and also a canon wide angle lens.

Feedback

Get yourself a low-light camera. These monkeys twitch and move so fast it was hard to capture them cleanly. Even this photo was a little blurry.
