A 50 mile backpacking trip in Oregons Eagle cap wilderness during one of the worst fire seasons on record. Thankfully no fires burned this beautiful area, even though much smoke still filled the area. Here is one of my favorite lakes ever, with Eagle Cap rising above. The smoke I found cast interesting light and colors I normally wouldn't have seen.
