This photo was taken in the back of my property. Neighbor amish asked to utilize the field for the season.Time
Early afternoon the teams were out in the field for the fourth day, preping it for planting.Lighting
The sun was bright overhead, creating some interesting definition in the coats of the horses.Equipment
I have a Sony A77 with a Tameron 200mm lens.Inspiration
I was inspired by the historic methods of farming used in the 21st century. Watching the muscle power of the animals was intriguing.Editing
After taking several shots, I cropped the one where I caught all four horses faces in the frame. I liked that stage of processing been thought to give it a historic appearance by adding a sepia filter. I wanted to strengthen the overall lines so I put the image through NIKs HDR program. A few tweaks in PS and thus is my end result.In my camera bag
