Through the Woods

From my series entitled "Neverland"

Neverland is a warm, fantasy-themed photography collection that grants the opportunity to reconnect with our hopes and dreams from childhood. Childhood is viewed as a simpler, more innocent time, and we often feel a great sense of nostalgia for simple activities, such as playing dress-up and make-believe. Neverland consists of individual mini-series, and viewing the collection parallels reading a collection of fairytales. Models are encouraged to choose and connect with their own characters and stories. Styling costuming, and settings all draw inspiration from classic and modern literature and folklore, and present across the collection is the conflict of good versus evil. Some models may have strong connections with the traditional protagonists, while others may resonate more with the villains or draw connections between certain “villainous” personality traits and aspects of their life. Involvement with Neverland allows for connection, resolvement, and fulfillment.
