Location
This photo was taken last week of August 2016 at a Bar here in Iloilo, Philippines. This was also taken along with other fellow photographers as this was a workshop.Time
This was taken at 3 PM on 20th of August 2016. The place was dim so it was a bit hard to take a great photo using only a kit lens. But when you nail it, WOW!!! Amazing!Lighting
Lighting always plays a big role in almost every photography. Without proper lighting your shots would come out underexposed or overexposed. Also, there will be harsh shadows & highlights. So a well balanced lighting along reflector really helps. But I do not really encourage every photographer to have one. There are other ways to get a beautiful shots without reflectors like using the shade and making your subject face the light source. That way your shots will have soft shadows and almost no harsh highlights.Equipment
In this photo I only used Nikon D3300 with its kit lens and a reflector, nothing else.Inspiration
I like photography so everything related to it inspires me to the extent. In the case, what inspired me to take this photo was the fact that this is new to me and taking this kind of theme is something I never expected to do.Editing
I believe great photos don't come without being post processed. Post processing, for me, is 50% of everything in terms of photography. A 5 star rated photo can be 9 or 10 through post processing and adding effects. In my camera bag
I only have an entry level camera and that is my Nikon D3300 with its kit lens, a IR remote and cheapo Tripod. But these setbacks doesn't stop me from taking great photos.Feedback
To others who wanna try this kind of capture always consider the lighting, location, time, your model and of course your imaginations. No matter how expensive your gears are, location, time or lighting scenarios you got if you don't know how to widen your imaginations then everything will be useless. Get out of your comfort zone and try every styles and positions that you can think of. Again imagination is key to achieving what you really desire.
