The mountain was misty when I took this photo giving a moody feel and creating depth. The beam of light draws your eye to the motorcycle that takes centre stage in creating a sense of adventure.Equipment
Sony A7R and natural lightInspiration
This was the very first adventure I went on with my wife when we first got together. I had hired a scooter for the day and she had her motorcycle (in the photo). We road up the mounting passing the temples and the tourist's until the road narrowed and we were alone on the mountain. Every few minutes we would stop and look for interesting things to photograph since we shared a love of photography. She is photographing a water drop in the left hand side of this photo. Looking back to see her I saw this composition and took the shot. She been my focal point ever sinceEditing
Yes, I can't remember exactly how I processed the image but I used photoshop adding gradient maps etc. to get the mood how I remembered it. This is pretty close to how it looked from memoryIn my camera bag
When I was traveling I would generally only carry my Sony A7R and 2 lenses (kit lens and 50mm zeiss). Just trying to stay lightFeedback
