I had to follow this little guy around for quite some time. The chase started out at the mouth of a small slot canyon. The sun was kept at bay by the high walls, the background was a perfect blanket of green and I was happy. One step to close and the chase was on. I finally ended up putting on my long lens Olympus 75-300mm f-4.8-6.7 I really didn't think I would like the images outside of the confines of the canyon walls. I do however love the way the sunlight dances on the leaves and back lights the wings of this elusive creature.
