I was challenged to capture a single moment that defined & could portray the essence of the Virginia State Fair. This moment of bubbles floating through the air, capturing the light, perfect blue skies, with the Ferris Wheel turning in the background reminded me of childhood glee. I could hear laughing, the music, and smell funnel cakes all around me - any time I look back at this photograph, I'm immediately reminded of happiness.
