Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in New Jersey looking east towards New York. The bridge in the photo is the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.

Time

This was taken just before sunrise.

Lighting

No additional lighting was used.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D5100 and a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 lens.

Inspiration

I enjoy the solitude of taking sunrise photos. The contrast between the beauty of nature's sunrise and the technology of the bridge and cruise ship was the subject I was trying to capture.

Editing

Simple Lightroom adjustments were made.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my Nikon D500 and D5100 cameras, a variety of lenses including the Sigma 70-200, Nikon 40mm, Rokinon 8mm fisheye, and Tokina 14-28mm.
