Behind The Lens

Location

Roslyn glen Midlothian

Time

This shot was taken around mid day

Lighting

It was bright with hot spots on the water from bright sunshine even though it was overcast

Equipment

Canon 7d mk2 fitted with a 24x70 L lens with 10 stop filter on a manfroto tripod and wireless trigger

Inspiration

The inspiration for this shot came from seeing the colours and the way the water passed over the rock

Editing

Post processing was done in Lightroom and was done by lifting the shadows and the vibrancy and raising the dehaze by around 8%

In my camera bag

2 canon bodies a 7d mk2 and 5d mk3 with 3 lenses (24x70 f4 L) (70x300 f4 L) (sigma 50mm 1.8) wirleles trigger spare batteries and cleaning cloth

Feedback

Take several of the same shot at difrint exposures ensure tripod is stable and the cure t won’t wash it down stream before placing your body on it
