It was taken in Guilin, China

Time

I think it was around sunset because I remember walking back to our place in the mountain and it was already dark.

Lighting

It was around sunset with a lot of clouds in the distance so lighting for me was perfect for this shot.

Equipment

Camera, canon 7d, lens, tripod

Inspiration

The beauty of this village with the clouds passing through the city. It was breathtaking.

Editing

I think i only made it a bit brighter, I used HDR when I was taking the photo.

Feedback

Just wait for the right moment. We can stay for hours in one place just to capture a certain photo. I remember this trip, almost every night we were hiking somewhere, sometime starting at 3 am to get to the top when it us sunrise to capture the moment.
