Behind The Lens

Location

Picture taking at Trolltunga rock hovering 700 metres above lake Ringedalsvatnet. This was during a 2 day in this amazing scenery.

Time

We started the hike late to be at this point by sundown. It was worth it because the many crowds were already heading back. We stayed there for the night.

Lighting

No better light than a clear sunset or golden hour.

Equipment

Only a Nikon D750 camera.

Inspiration

A saw many incredible pictures by other photographers, i was inspired by them. But the best thing was the experience.

Editing

A little in lightroom. Adding a little more warmth and contrast.

In my camera bag

Normally not much, because you have to hike with and we must carry tents and extra food. I had one lens on the camera and one extra wide angle for capturing the landscapes.

Feedback

First of all, don't be to focussed on taking the shot. It can be frustrating because you cannot control the weather. (I also wanted to make some morning shots, but it was raining the entering 2e day). Live the moment and enjoy every step.
