On a bike ride through the trails of Yosemite Valley--in the shadows of Half Dome, El Capitan, and other such ubiquitous mountains--we found a beach to relax at for a little while. I parked my cruiser and dozed off to soft sound of crystal waves flowing through the many rocks of the Merced, breathing the fresh piney air. Later, I woke up and went for a brief dip, because the glacial water was ice cold to the touch. What a perfect day.
