Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire the aircraft is the lancaster called just jane.

Time

It was taken as part of an organised night shoot in november 2015. was around 5pm and getting quite dark.

Lighting

The company that a ranged this shoot had set up the lighting for the night shoot. It was simply a couple of hand held tradesman lamps.

Equipment

I used my canon 500 with a sigma 18mm - 170mm with a focal length of 26mm. I was using my manfrotto tripod.

Inspiration

I had seen photos very similar to this before and I love to shoot at night. My dad is a mad lancaster fan so I took him with me to the shoot.

Editing

This is unedited as I currently have no editing software on my new laptop.

In my camera bag

I don't have a wide range of equipment. I have a 500D with the stock 50mm lense. I have sigma 18 - 250 and an older 500mm sigma also.

Feedback

I am very new to photography so I am happy with the results of this shoot. Advice? Well ready up about what type of shooting you want and just play around. It will all work out with time and practice.
