Aphrodite, the golden goddess mermaid came from a vision I had about 4 months ago. I started planning this shoot by drawing out my ideas. I spent hours sewing the costume and putting together props and accessories. When the shoot day finally arrived I styled her hair with extensions and applied her beautiful gold leaf makeup. We got up extra early to shoot as the sun rose over Lake Superior, in Two Harbors, MN. I poured my heart and soul into this shoot. I couldn't be happier with the results!
