Behind The Lens

Location

This was a shot taken from my first photo shoot for an online fashion site called Whats in a bag,it was taken in a small park in Southampton Hampshire UK

Time

This was toward the end of the shoot so it was around 5.00pm

Lighting

The sun was still high and was casting some great natural soft light

Equipment

Nikon D3200 no tripod or flash standard 18-55mm

Inspiration

I loved the vanashing point of the wall and wanted a tilted shot, its not the most atractive wall I've ever seen but it gave me the feeling of Beauty and the Beast

Editing

Apart from the obvious black and white i did darken the edges slightly to help draw you in to the focal point of the model

In my camera bag

Nikon D3200 18-55mm,sigma 70-300mm Hoya ND filter,remote release,extra battery,tripod

Feedback

My advice would be to get down low with the camera tilt it slightly auto focus and take plenty of shots with your model in different positions and looking in different directions, look for a well light place with natural light, be patient and good things will happen.
