Behind The Lens

Location

chichen itza mexico

Time

night

Lighting

it takes a lot of post processing to get the lighting right.

Equipment

tripod 18-135 lens canon t14 camera

Inspiration

I looked at photos of landscape moon scenes at night and learned different techniques to make it come out right. I thought it would be interesting to combine a moon photo I had with another photo of chichen itza. after experimenting it came out just the way I wnted.

Editing

took a photo of the moon and layered on a photo of chichen itza using a blue filter

In my camera bag

3 lens, 2 cameras, monopod, flash, filters

Feedback

moon photos in a landscape photo are difficult to take a night due to exposure issues. the easiest way is to take a photo of the moon and layer it on a night scene.
