I keep my camera with me everyday all the time because of times like this. My children and I were driving home and the clouds and storm were rolling in at the same time as the sunset occurred and gave this amazing orange / black hue to the sky.Lighting
I love shadows! I prefer to take darker photos if it all possible when it comes to the sky.Equipment
Nikon d3200, no flash no standInspiration
The color of the sky was remarkable and I had never seen the hues match that before. I pulled over and started shooting until the storm came and the rain started to pour.Editing
Yes , I darker the shadows even more to show the storms passing.through.In my camera bag
always my lens cleaner. nothing more sad than taking photos and having a piece of fuzz in the lens.Feedback
Drive off the beaten path. I take multiple ways home every week for variety and its safer to be able to double park on back roads than busy highways to get the photos you want.
