Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Cape Kidnapper's in the Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. I was doing a road trip with my Mum and we decided to stop for some fresh air. This car was parked next to us and I just had to take a photo of it.

Time

Not sure of the time of day but it was in May so lovely crisp autumn days (autumn in NZ is March to May/June). Love that time of year because you get a definitive edge to things, not all hazy like summer.

Lighting

Beautiful, bright crisp day .

Equipment

Canon 450D.

Inspiration

I love old cars. I could tell that this guy was very proud of his car and it was just so pristine and shiny.

Editing

I did a bit of LR to it. Mainly the highlights, shadows, contrast and exposure.

In my camera bag

Always have my 18-55mm lens. It's pretty much all that I'll carry for daytime photos.
