The light was behind and above, I really wanted the shadow on the inside of the jacket, and a different angle of her body. She was sitting on a stool.Equipment
Hand held, Nikon, point and shoot. Coolpix P530 - no flash - fixed lens, macro setting.Inspiration
I took a class on digital photography to learn how to take better photos of my children. I asked my sister to pose, so I could practice some artsy stuff. I wanted to hint at "so sexy", with the lines and idea of a woman, without just out there nudity. I also wanted to capture the idea of someone, so wanted the image faceless (plus, she's shy).Editing
I am still learning post processing, this I just converted to black and white, and sharpened the image and contrast a bit.In my camera bag
I now have a canon rebel T5 and D40 - a couple of reflectors, extra batteries and memory cards, always with me.Feedback
The idea and feeling of something is sometimes more powerful than the real thing - straight on. A bit hidden, could be anyone, anywhere...denim - relaxed, skirt detail bohemian....the curve of her in the shadow. While the jacket and skirt detail is in focus, it's definitely sensual. Use shadow to outline, light is key!
