Behind The Lens

Location
This was taken at Al Ain Zoo in the UAE.
Time
It was shoot towards the end of the day. About 5pm, the sun was just starting to go down.
Lighting
Using ambient light. The sun was getting low and it was slightly overcast. A nice soft light.
Equipment
This was shot on my Nikon 3100 with a 85mm.
Inspiration
This was part of the bird show at the zoo and the handler came closer to the audience so gave me a better chance for a great shot.
Editing
Very minimal post-processing. I think all I did was crop slightly and brighten.
In my camera bag
Always a prime lens. Normally my 85mm. But it really depends on what I will be shooting.
Feedback
For animal/ wildlife photography patience is key. Also fast shutter speeds and continuous shooting will ensure you capture a great image.
