Location
This photo was taken in Antwerp (Belgium) on a cloudy day.. As I passed by the ship I saw the layers of the clouds, in the little light that came through, the colours of the flags took my attention. So I just had to take this shot!Time
It was an ordinary day, I had nothing planned and went for a walk, (but you never go, never, ever go out without your camera) It was really a snapshot, everything was perfect on this nice day in August 2016Lighting
it was a dramatic sky with many layers of clouds, reflecting in the water.. rays of light came through the clouds.Equipment
These days I just had my first 'Canon' EOS 750D I took it with Aperture 8/1?ISO 100?Shutter 1/500?Focal Length 24/1?Inspiration
as I said...I just was at the perfect place on the perfect time :) And very glad I could capture this moment!Editing
Actually, I just did some edit with LR edit: contrast, colour the blacks and the whites..In my camera bag
At that time I just had this Canon EOS 750 D, it was my first camera with a kitlens (18-135mm) in the meantime, I already own several lenses and a dslr Canon EOS 5D Mark IIIFeedback
make use of weather conditions, clouds, rain, reflections, everything that nature gives you at all times ... contributes to the perfect picture! Look up, look down everywhere you go, look around you ... beauty is hidden in where you at least expect it!
