This is a place I have visiting my entire life. It is a waterfall in East Texas near Mt. Selman, Texas fed by the spring fed Blue Branch on a property which is a remainder of 163 acres that has been in my family since 1878 and has been the spiritual center of the Bone family ever since. We used to be able to wade across the pool without going past our waist. Then about a week before this photo, this creek was inundated with a flash flood where the action of the water wallowed out the pool leaving a deep hole where the water is now way over my head. I have never seen the water so clear. This picture is a composite of 9 photographs stitched together with Adobe Lightroom, with the original tiff file size being over 300 MB.
