Taken during our trip to Carolina Beach, North Carolina, this sandpiper type bird is grasping for mollusks and crabs in the surf during the sunrise time of the morning. A little hard to catch these critters since they run and dart so fast, and this actually digging for food gave me an opportunity to capture a shot under these low light conditions. The picture is taken with my D3200 Nikon and Sigma 3.5-5.6 18-250mm zoom lens. Editing was done in Adobe Lightroom 5 and I am not sure which version since I have the early LR 5 version and the Lightroom 5 CC version and as for adjustments all I remember is I lessoned the shadow and sharpened the image.
