You have tremendous skill technically and artistically! To be able to convey the depth of pain that you feel yourself is not an easy thing. The use of shadows, sharp contrast with a simple background that doesn't distract, and the perfect composition using the rule of thirds really bring everything together nicely, PLEASE use that talent to help you get through the rough times and to help others who are also suffering. You can do so much good!

Great concept. This photo is a great depicts your idea perfectly. Depression is very difficult to cope with, it takes a huge toll on people. You've captured such a great shot.
