Location
This image was taken at Aitch boat launch on Lake Raystown, Pa.Time
The photo was taken around 5:30 or 6 on a warm August afternoon. Me and a group of friends was having a picnic up behind were the weeping willow tree is. The spot wear i'm at is on an old railroad bed that cross over the inlet there.Lighting
The lighting was off to my left hand side and was a little low in the sky. It wasn't that golden hour just yet but it was close.Equipment
The camera i use is a Canon EOS Rebel T3. The lens i used is a EF-S 18-55 IS II lens with no flash. I used a (Pro) master 7100 tripod.Inspiration
I do a lot of landscape and nature photography for the most part that is my passion. I can't say that one particular piece or one particular person's images inspire me the most. On that day as i look at the reflection of the trees in the water it reminded me that there is two way's we can look at this world. We can see the beauty in this world or the distorted view of this world. I think i got the beautiful one myself.Editing
I did do a little bit of adjustment's with the color in the image. I bumped up the Vibrance a little and Saturation a little. Trying to make the image pop a little. In my camera bag
What i have in my bag is both my Canon “Rebel EOS T3” with an EF-S 18-55 IS II lens on one and I have a zoom EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS II lens on the other. I also have a SIGMA 70-300mm F/4-5.6 DG SPR DL – MACRO F/EO lens i take with me. I have an external flash and a monopod and a tripod i take with me also. I have a Sekonic L-308s flashmate and a remote shutter trigger. I have batter's and cleaning stuff also besides some notes if i need. I some times forget how i set up a shot and need to look back on things and having notes help with that.Feedback
The best advice that i can give anyone is this. Shoot what ever inspire's you what ever that maybe. There is no one to please but your self. If this is what you do for a living then give your clients the best work you can.
