Ever been to the hottest place on earth? Yup, Death Valley sizzles in summertime! It is also the lowest and driest area in North America.
Last year I was lucky enough to visit DVNP's famous Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes. Spent a couple of nights in Beatty, a nearby town and would drive each morning to catch some awesome sunrise bathing the desert valley. As soon as the sun rises from the mountains, you'll get an unending intimate play of lines, shadows and patterns on the dunes. On my way back to the car when.... How can you resist this? Lol!
