Behind The Lens

Location

Took this photo in Rotonda West Florida. Photography has always been a passion of mine I am self taught so every photo I take is a lesson along the way.

Time

It was afternoon I was actually just getting done making dinner. And I heard thunder so I walked outside and actually this photo was taken with my phone. I didn't expect how beautiful is going to look outside I expected you know some storm clouds but nothing that beautiful.

Lighting

For lighting there wasn't any besides the Sun and lightning that's about it

Equipment

I use my phone which is a Galaxy S6 no lighting no flash no different lenses no tripod just me and my phone.

Inspiration

What inspired me was I was sitting outside like normal and I absolutely love landscape pictures. They don't have a soul subject you can be looking at the water in this picture you could be looking at the clouds it doesn't matter but it still makes you feel a certain way. And that's why I was inspired to take this photo.

Editing

I did not

In my camera bag

Normally I carry around my Nikon Coolpix and my phone

Feedback

My advice would be to be patient clouds change every second you just have to wait for the right time. I know I took way more than this photo sometimes I take up to like 30 photos of the same setting just to get that one picture. So be patient and be observant. But as a landscape photographer there will always be different landscapes between beaches and snowy mountain ranges and just Canal's in your backyard or just you saw a butterfly there is always something different about the landscape no matter where you are so always keep your camera close
