The Toco toucan also known as the common toucan or simply toucan, is the largest and probably the best known species in the toucan family.

Location &Habitat- South America.They build their nests in decayed, hollow tress of rainforest.

Diet-Various fruits, Insects or lizards.

Size and Description- Grow to 1.5 - 2 feet.Large bills.bills are bright orange-yellow.Eyes are bright blue.

Behaviour-Tocos are not excellent fliers so they often need to walk and hop across branches to get to place where fruit is at.Toco toucans have loud calls and chatter that they use to communicate with other tocos.

Reproduction- Lay clutches of 2-5 eggs.Both male and female provide incubation. The egg will hatch after about a half of a month of incubation.

It is considered to be LEAST CONCERN by BIRD LIFE INTERNATIONAL. It is easily seen in pantanal.
