Pano was taken near Creator Hill, an outcropping of rock seen just left of center frame, at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. I happened to be out with a c-worker, taking a profile picture of her under the milky way when this incredible display of the Souther Lights began. Only a pano could capture all that beauty in a single picture.
