Behind The Lens

Location

At Swiss Miniatur in Melide, Switzerland, during a weekend trip around the Canton Ticino with my wife. Because of her I took this picture.

Time

This picture was taken on 16th July 2016. I was very beautiful day and quite hot.

Lighting

The light it was quite perfect and how you can see, the sun was in front of me. It wasn't easy to try set up the right exposure and aperture very quickly to capture the moment.

Equipment

I used a Canon PowerShot SX700HS. Aperture : f/6.3; Shutter speed : 1/125; iso 100

Inspiration

I see a lot of nature and wild nature pictures with animals and that day and moment I tried to take nice picture of this Grey heron.

Editing

For editing a Picasa and Fotor Photo Editor. I turn the picture to black and white and the focus effect to put in the foreground Grey heron with fish in its beak

In my camera bag

I have with me a Canon EOS 450D with 3 lens and they are Canon Lens. 2 of them are the kit lens,18-55 mm and 70-200 mm. The third one is a primer lens a 50 mm f/1.8. A powerful flash and a little tripod. And sometimes I have also the Canon PowerShot SX700HS for short video

Feedback

Carpem diem and alot of patience.
