This picture of a Clownfish was taken on a reef called Dangerous Reef in the Red Sea, Egypt.Time
The picture was taken in the early afternoon as the anemone is wide open. They like to close up later in the day.Lighting
It was taken using 2 X Z240 strobes.Equipment
I used on this picture a Olympus EM-10 camera with a 14-42 macro lense in a Nauticam NA-EM-10 housing, 2 X Z240 strobes with a Fix focus light.Inspiration
I think the subject it's self inspires me. I love the underwater world and everything it has to offer. Especially fish they aren't easy subjects. Constantly moving and you also can't stay still yourself due to sometimes surges and current.Editing
TBH the only thing I did for post processing is a little white balance. Due to depth and the fact the first colour you lose with depth is Red.In my camera bag
Spare mask and it's going to sound daft but a tampon. We sometimes put them in the housings in case of a leek but now I have a vacume housing. I think I'm best take it out. You get funny looks when going through check-in at airports when they serch your bag.Feedback
Only advice I would say is "Be patient it will happen. It just normally when you have left.
