Behind The Lens

Location

Fall 2015

Time

Late afternoon while driving home from work

Lighting

During sunset, light is just perfectly shining through leaves, reflecting its golden color

Equipment

Canon 70D, 24-70 mm L, no tripod, no flash, just plain natural light

Inspiration

I was driving home from work and saw beautiful yellow leaves covering the ground along Charles River in Boston. I went back with my camera and 24-70 mm lens attached. Coincidentally, a gentleman was sitting and looking ahead at the river when I took this picture.

Editing

Yes, I used Lr to enhance the vibrance and some shadow to bring up details of the object on the left which is a gentleman sitting on a bench.

In my camera bag

I only have one body, which is Canon 70D. I love the articulating and touch screen LCD that helps me taking pictures at a lower or different angle.

Feedback

All you need is a perfect timing, perfect light. Try different angle of view, find an interesting object to create some thoughts when someone looking at your photo.
