Mount Visoke is part of the chain of Virunga Volcanoes that separate Rwanda, DR Congo and Uganda. At 12,000 ft elevation, Visoke hides a dramatic crater lake that is often shrouded in fog and is rarely visited by the resident mountain gorillas. I was lucky to be with a group one day when they made a rare visit.
