Graffiti: writing or drawings that have been scribbled, scratched, or painted on a wall or other surface.
Just as Native Americans put hand prints on rocks, or gangs mark their territory with symbols, feral cats mark their territry with claw marks. They are claiming this turf as their sacred hunting ground. Cats from other feral colonies will be immediaitely dealt with and chased off.
