Sunset at Bear Hill Preserve in Cragsmoor NY as a storm front moves in.

My first visit to this location and I was absolutely blown away by the view. And if that wasn't enough, it ended with a storm passing through as the sun set. Amazing! I'm looking forward to exploring this area more in the future.

Astounding! Those clouds and colors are amazing. What time of year was it that you were able to be there that late? Last time I was there they were closing at 7.

Thanks! I believe it was August last summer. I stayed thru sunset so maybe around 8-8:30. I think it all depends on who is working the booth that day as to when they close.
